Obituary of Patricia Amanda McEntire

Patricia “Pat” McEntire, age 74, of Niceville, Florida passed away on November 21, 2021. She was born January 10, 1947, in Dothan, Alabama. She grew up in Chipley, Florida with her parents, Alex and Phelicia Wood along with her six siblings: Broward, Geneva, Foley, Don, Linda, and Janice. She attended Chipley High School where she enjoyed being a majorette. Later, she made the move to Niceville with her young family. There, she began a 30+ year career in banking beginning at Valparaiso Bank and Trust as a teller and ending her career at Regions Bank as Branch Manager. Pat is preceded in death by her parents Alex Broward and Phelicia Amanda Wood, her sister, Janice Wood, and most recently by her loving husband of 45 years, C.J. McEntire. Pat is survived by her two daughters, Kim Brewer and husband Chip and Carla Edwards and husband Richie, her grandchildren Mandy Ross, Amber Brewer, Tara Garmon, Kayla Bailey, and Trent Edwards, and by her great grandchildren Madden, Ben, Jane, Jude, Nora, Davis, Maybree, and Dede. Pat loved spending every moment with her family! It was either with family dinners that included singing and dancing, game nights that included a little cheating, or shopping with the girls! But her greatest love was for C.J. who loved and cared for her so deeply. We will miss you! Services to honor and to celebrate Patricia’s life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Heritage Memorial Gardens Chapel in Niceville.
