Elsielene Ward Hodnett of Port St. Joe and formerly of Blountstown passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2011 in Blountstown at the age of 79. Elsielene was born April 13, 1932 to the late Ambrose and Lanie (Kent) Wiggins. After graduating from Florida State University, she taught in Blountstown Middle School from 1966 to 1979. She later worked in food management in Tallahassee and Columbus, Georgia until her retirement. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Nelson Sellers, Fred Ward, and Phillip Hodnett; sons, Doug and Tommy Sellers; brothers, Brian, Kent, and Billy Wiggins; and her sisters, Doris Bergstom and Anita Reid. Survivors include two sons, Donnie Sellers and his wife, Judy of Port St Joe, Florida, and David Sellers and his wife, Rebecca of Madison, Florida; a daughter- in- law, Betty Sellers of Naples, Florida; six grandson, three granddaughters; and eight great-granddaughters; a brother, Walter Wiggins of Marianna, Florida; a sister, Sue Reid of Phoenix City, Alabama. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 17, 2011 from the Chapel at Adams Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home. Adams Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. 674-5449.
